You can also find him strumming his guitar, which he learned without any formal training, occasionally as well. That was his first musical love, that was, until a saxophonist from Mississippi introduced him to a new instrument, the sax. Chocolatblack sat in on a set with him and was hooked saying “That touched me so much. It made me want try to

learn the Sax.” From that encounter he, incredibly, taught himself how to play the

instrument and the rest, as they say, is musical history. Being an autodidact, especially with the saxophone, is no easy accomplishment and yet this performer has excelled with the instrument. Your ears will thank you when you hear him play.

From Paris, France, Chocolatblack has been performing in Second Life for about a year now at places such as Mama's Pub, Nat's Jazz, Africa Live, Envy Club, The Nightowl Club and, of course, at his home venue Home of Peace.
